Welcome to my world of SEO! I’m Shivam Kumar Gupta, an experienced SEO consultant based in Jamshedpur, dedicated to helping businesses rank higher on Google, increase organic traffic, and generate quality leads.

Over the past seven years, I’ve worked with over 53+ clients across diverse industries including real estate, healthcare, e-commerce, and local businesses to create customized SEO strategies that drive measurable results. I’m a Google, HubSpot, and SEMrush Certified expert, ensuring my strategies are backed by industry-leading expertise.

My Journey Into SEO

My SEO journey began back in 2018 while I was pursuing my degree in Computer Science at Pune University. Initially, I was focused on front-end web development and even earned a coveted spot in the Google India Challenge Scholarship for front-end development.

It all started when I created an e-commerce website from scratch using core coding. But after launching it, I realized that building a website wasn’t enough — I needed to rank it to get noticed. That’s when I discovered SEO.

Determined to learn more, I enrolled in Google Digital Garage and completed the Online Marketing Fundamentals (Digital Unlocked) course. Even after applying the basics, my site wasn’t ranking. So, in 2019, I joined Growth Acad Institute in Pune for hands-on SEO training. Under the mentorship of Arpit Khurana, I discovered the power of WordPress and built my first tech blog — BrainyWit.

Within 14 months, BrainyWit generated over 12 million impressions and earned Google AdSense approval, allowing me to monetize the site successfully.

Professional Milestones and Career Growth

After my graduation in 2020, I received a call from Indovance for an SEO Specialist role. Over a tenure of 15 months, I helped them grow their organic traffic from 1,600 visits/month to 12,000–14,000 visits/month through a data-driven SEO strategy.

To sharpen my skills further, I pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing from IIDE, Mumbai. As one of the star students in my batch, I immersed myself in advanced SEO techniques and applied them directly to live projects.

During my post-graduation, I began working as a freelance SEO consultant, helping small and medium-sized businesses in Jamshedpur with local SEO. Through strategic local SEO optimization, I successfully drove 11,918 profile views and 3,031 search appearances for a café business, and achieved 5,135 profile views and 417 search appearances for a bag store.

Some of the brands I successfully worked with include Nicco Jubilee Park, ShreeLeathers – Sakchi, Tata Motors Dealers, Brewers Café, Ganinath Vivah. Additionally, I’ve implemented winning SEO strategies for various other local and regional businesses, helping them improve their online visibility and generate consistent leads.

After this, I joined a USA-based packers and movers company, Community Labor Partnership – Movers, where I boosted their online visibility over an 11-month contractual period — improving Domain Authority from 1 to 16 and increasing organic traffic from 1K/month to 2.5K/month.

I then moved on to work as an Inbound Marketing Manager for GAB China, where I executed SEO strategies for businesses across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions. Some of the notable brands I worked with include EO Bangkok, Waste2Wear, Bandhan Life, Frozen Dessert Supply, Hot Cup Factory, UNIQ Supply.

This global exposure helped me fine-tune my SEO expertise across different markets and industries.
